outfit: one sweater, two ways

this sweater has become a staple this winter.  its warm and adds a pop of color to my usual dreary wardrobe this time of year.  dressed up with an aline skirt for work or dressed down with a striped tee and jeans for thrifting on the weekend.  

sorry for the bad photos, lesson learned don't use plaid as a backdrop.

outfit: snowpocalypse

I left you with a tale of pretending to be snowed in. Well that actually lead to being snowed in and work was closed for three days! As nice as it was I attempted to work from home. Which was a nice change of pace. But I couldn't do it all the time. A millionaire matchmaker marathon came on and it was all over.

Now that snowpocalypse is over I can ditch the two layers of wool socks and rain boots and welcome back skirts and flats back into my wardrobe. I did learn in a late night run to the grocery store that a puffy vest over a peacoat doesn't look too bad.

outfit: Snowed in

Sundays are usually spent with the fam. With all this talk of snow I was hesitant to make the drive, but the city didn't have any so I decided to hit the road. However George and I were in for a treat. Snow everywhere!! Let's hope it let's up or I might get snowed in. Although that wouldn't be so bad. :)
